Self-Custody Wallet Guide
A careful, security-first MetaMask setup. Self-custody means you — and only you — control the keys and the seed phrase.
Install MetaMask only from the official source (metamask.io or official app stores).
Create your wallet and set a strong password.
Write your seed phrase offline — on paper, never digitally.
Never share your seed phrase with anyone, for any reason.
Add BNB Smart Chain (Network Name: BNB Smart Chain, Currency: BNB).
Send a small test transaction first before larger transfers.
Keep some BNB in your wallet for gas fees.
Use USDT BEP-20 only if TGI requires BEP-20 — verify inside TGI.
Verify the destination address carefully before sending anything.
Use self-custody wherever possible — you control the keys.
Network settings
Keep a small amount of BNB in your wallet to cover gas fees on BNB Smart Chain.
Golden rules
- · Your seed phrase is the master key — never share it.
- · No legitimate support will ever ask for it.
- · Funds sent on the wrong network may be lost forever.
- · Always send a small test transaction first.
